Decent baseball equipment is usually ordered online or through a catalog. You can also view and purchase some equipment at these local stores. The advantage of the stores is the ability to view the equipment before purchasing or when it's needed immediately.
Thanks to one of our readers for pointing out that Baseball Express is now closed. Baseball Express announced their store closing in February. To purchase items from them, they now point you to their website.
My favorite website for purchasing items is Direct Sports. They're located in Virginia. I find that their items are generally at a lower costs than other retailers and they ship quickly.
